Mobile Check Deposit is another way we bring banking to you. Enjoy the convenience of depositing a check from the comfort of your iPhone, Android mobile or iPad tablet device using CapitalMark's Mobile and Tablet Banking apps. Simply snap a photo of the front and back of a properly endorsed* check and submit! We offer this service complimentary to all of our personal account holders because we want our clients to experience and enjoy the convenience of banking on-the-go.

How it works:

1.) Login to your Mobile or Tablet Banking app.

2.) Select Mobile Deposit from the navigation menu and click 'New Deposit'.

3.) After reading the Terms & Conditions, click 'Continue'.

4.) Snap a photo of the front and back of a properly endorsed check in the designated photo fields. Proper endorsements require a signature, receiving account number and "For CMBT Mobile Deposit Only" on the back of the check.

5.) Enter the dollar amount of the deposit and select the receiving CapitalMark account.

6.) To finish, enter your email address for transaction updates and click 'Continue'.

7.) If all information is accurate, click 'Submit'.

If approved, your mobile deposit funds will be available the next business day if deposited prior to the 3 p.m. EST cut-off time. If the deposit was submitted after 3 p.m. EST, the funds will be available in 2 business days.

Compatible Devices: iPhone and Android phones, iPad tablets

Activation: Users must be enrolled in Online Banking and Mobile or Tablet Banking. The Mobile check Deposit feature is accessed through CapitalMark's Mobile and Tablet Banking apps available for free in Google and Apple's app stores. Your Banker Team can assist with enrollment and activation, or follow these step-by-step instructions to enroll.

Acceptable Checks: Checks payable to you, with the current date, drawn on a local U.S. bank check.

Unacceptable Checks: Money Orders, Traveler's Checks, Cashier's Checks, third party checks, and foreign checks. Other reasons a check could be rejected include poor image quality, missing proper endorsement, daily or item limit exceeded.

Cut-Off Times: 3 p.m. EST cut-off time for deposits for next business day credit. Deposits submitted after 3 p.m. EST will be credited in 2 business days. Deposits submitted on weekends and federal holidays will be processed the following next business day.

Limits: A $5,000 item and daily limit exists for Mobile Check Deposit.
