CapitalMark Launches the Advantage Forum
Chattanooga, Tennessee – June 9, 2014 – CapitalMark Bank & Trust announced its launch of the CapitalMark Advantage Forum, an advisory series designed to guide clients and friends how to enhance and protect their personal wealth and business success.
Of the vision for the series, CapitalMark Business Unit Group Head Ryan Murphy states, “We do more than provide loans and safe-keep deposits for our clients. We offer them advisory resources on everything from business valuations and succession planning to how to help aging parents and plan for inter-generational wealth transfer. Clients are looking for expert advice, and we want to be their resource for any financial needs, even ones that may fall outside of the typical banking box.”
Guest speaker Cathy Boettner is kicking off the first Advantage Forum on June 11th in Chattanooga and June 17th in Knoxville as she explores the question ‘Can Your Business Survive (or Thrive) Without You?’ Boettner, Strategic Planner & Consultant with LBMC Planning Services and CapitalMark Advisory Board Member, will discuss how business owners and executives can preserve and enhance the value of their key asset: their business. Boettner remarks, “CapitalMark’s unique model and experienced team of bankers and advisors are the perfect partner for this seminar. I look forward to kicking off the Advantage Forum and seeing what other resources CapitalMark plans to provide to its clients through this educational series.”
Boettner served as CEO of a manufacturing firm for nearly two decades, growing the business from $3 million in sales to $13 million over her tenure. She facilitated a successful exit and now works as a consultant advising clients how to identify and address both risk and growth opportunities.
CapitalMark’s Director of Wealth Services Stefanie Crowe states, “The Advantage Forum is demonstrative of the value-added service we offer our clients through superior products, advisory consultations and convenient banking. Additionally, our Wealth & Trust group complements CapitalMark’s high caliber banking services providing the ultimate platform to build business value and family wealth. The ultimate gratification is to see our clients succeed.”
