Keith Barrett Leads CapitalMark’s Cleveland Expansion
Chattanooga, TN – August 23, 2011 – CapitalMark Bank & Trust is pleased to announce the addition of Keith Barrett as its Cleveland President. In this role Mr. Barrett and his Banker Teams will launch CapitalMark’s full-service office in Cleveland, Tennessee pending regulatory approval. CapitalMark’s Banker Teams serve the needs of enterprising individuals and businesses within a model that aligns one banker to each client and employs technology and an executive courier service to customize the banking experience.
“CapitalMark’s record of success in a tough climate speaks volumes about its compelling model, conservative management and determined focus on serving clients well,” said Mr. Barrett. CapitalMark retains over $500 million in assets and has consistently out-performed its peer banks – a national group of 147 banks which opened in 2007. Mr. Barrett further stated: “Cleveland is an attractive market and will be served well by an institution that was built on fostering close, advisory client relationships and providing local, responsive decisions as solutions to client banking needs.”
R. Craig Holley, CapitalMark’s Chairman, President and CEO, said, “CapitalMark is dedicated to growing its East Tennessee footprint, and the launch of our Cleveland office accentuates our commitment to pursue attractive markets that may be underserved by our larger, regional competitors. We lead with our people. The addition of Keith Barrett, as a high-caliber, well-respected Banker, reflects how serious we are in bringing seasoned talent and great advice to our clients.”
