Bankers Move to CapitalMark
Chattanooga, TN - November 8, 2006 - James H. Vavalides, Chief Credit and Banking Services Executive of CapitalMark Bank & Trust (In Organization), announced today the addition of 5 new bankers to the CapitalMark team.
Kenny Dyer, former City President for Regions Bank in Chattanooga, has joined the bank along with 3 other former Regions bankers, Bonnie Blalock, Rick Nelson and Bob Stimson. In addition, Mark Feemster has joined the bank. Feemster was formerly with First Volunteer Bank in Chattanooga.
“This talented group brings extensive experience in banking and a proven record of building relationships with Chattanooga businesses and consumers,” said Vavalides.
Dyer joins the organization as the Chattanooga Market Executive and will be responsible for day-to-day banking operations in Chattanooga. Blalock, Nelson, Stimson and Feemster join as Executive Vice Presidents and will be responsible for direct client services.

In other news, the bank application has been approved and the Tennessee bank charter granted by state regulators. This approval came less than six weeks after the bank filed the application with the Tennessee Department of Financial Institutions. The next step in the approval process is the field examination by state regulators, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and the Federal Reserve. The bank is on target for a first quarter, 2007, opening.
